Descend To Acheron is an Australian Blackened Death Metal band. They were formed in South Australia in 2014.

The band's current members are:

Vocals – Andy Kite, a former member of In The Burial and Maniacal

Lead Guitar – Peter Clarke, a former member of In The Burial

Bass – Pahl Hodgson, Oath Of Damnation and Beyond Mortal Dreams

Rhythm Guitar – Lachlan Stopa, Lumen Ad Mortem, Brutaliate

Drums – Kieran Murray, Omnium, Meth Leppard

Descend To Acheron released An EP “The Transience Of Flesh” in 2020 and recently a single in late 2022 called “The Welcoming Void”.

Blending furious blast beats, technical riffing, and melodic hooks that are both brutal and memorable.

Descend To Acheron has been gaining traction post covid with support shows and festivals under their belt with heavyweights such as Psycroptic, Revocation, and more.
